Utah Haiti Relief is a Coalition of charitable foundations and concerned individuals from Utah who are focusing on saving lives and giving relief in Haiti NOW when so many lives are at risk. Everyone involved has donated of their time and resources to get specific, needed help on the ground to Haiti.
We received word from our team and what they need is funding to continue their service. We have a unique opportunity to create quick, positive results in saving lives because 100% of the donated funds and resources are going straight to Haiti…immediately. Everyone involved is volunteering their time and resources. All of the funds are going straight into purchasing needed supplies and resources within a matter of a few days.
For example, we have set up a Base Camp of Operations on the outskirts of Port Au Prince where we are able to serve the needs of many individuals and small communities that have not yet seen any other relief efforts at all. We have organized Supply Lines from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic to our Base Camp to ensure that we can keep the supplies coming.
As a result of our efforts, the Secretary of State for the Dominican Republic sought out our team and offered assistance and security to help our efforts!!! The supplies are running as we speak and food and other supplies are being distributed to smaller communities and orphanages in the country surrounding Port Au Prince.
There is an URGENT NEED to provide help NOW! Because of the devastation in Port Au Prince, foods and other supplies that are normally distributed throughout the country have completely stopped. Currently, enormous efforts are underway to help bring relief to the millions in Port Au Prince since most of the destruction was there. However, millions of other Haitians in small communities scattered throughout the country are also without food and needed supplies. Our organization is helping to get food and resources to these areas NOW.
There are many good organizations through whom people can donate for help. This is an opportunity for UTAHNS to support Relief Workers from Utah who are on the ground right now working hard to save lives in Haiti! Again, 100% of donated funds will go straight into supplies for people in Haiti.
